We offer cake sample boxes quarterly. The next round will be available for pick up from Oxley - April 2022 date to be confirmed 

How much will my cake cost?

Each cake varies in price depending on the extent of decoration and techniques used. Ingredient costs also fluctuate during the year. You can find a base list of prices on our "Price Guide" page, or fill out an enquiry form on the "Contact" page to get a detailed quote.

Do you offer dietary options?

We have a small range of gluten free cake flavours. We only offer vegan/ dairy free in cupcake form. As our kitchen contains allergen foods, we can never 100% guarantee that traces will not be present, although we will do our very best to avoid cross contamination!

What is the difference between dessert portion and finger portion?

Dessert portions are large slices recommended when the cake is being plated for dessert at a wedding or party. Finger (or Canape) portions are recommended for stand up events, or those in which the cake is not the only dessert

or sweet being served. 

How do i transport my cake?

Contrary to popular belief, your cake is actually much safer on the floor of your car, rather than on your passengers lap! If you are travelling more than 1 hour with your cake, we recommend bringing a large esky to transport it in. Petite Crumb takes no responsibility for damage caused to the cake once it has left our kitchen, so please drive carefully! We do not allow customers to transport cakes larger than a single tier therefore delivery will be

required for two or three tier cakes.

How do i store my cake?

We recommend storing your cake in the fridge until the beginning of your event. Any left overs can be wrapped in cling film and kept in the fridge

or freezer.

Do you deliver to the Gold or Sunshine Coast?

No, we only service Brisbane/ greater Brisbane based venues.  

I need to cancel, can i get a refund?

We require a 50% non refundable deposit to secure your booking. This amount closes the spot off to other customers, covers relevant administration fees, consumables and ingredients purchased for your order. If cancellation or postponement is required, your deposit amount may be used as credit (minus any out of pocket costs) towards a future order if given at least 14 days notice for celebration cakes, 30 days for wedding cakes. COVID-19 : In the event of a snap lockdown, the credit amount will depend on the amount of work that has been completed on your order. If the cake has been baked and decorated, you

(the customer) will need to collect it. 

How far in advance should i book?

We tend to book out quite far in advance, especially during wedding season. We only take on a certain amount of orders each week so recommend getting in touch as soon as you have set a date for your event! Once a deposit has been paid to secure your date you are more than welcome to make changes

to your order. 

Can i order a fondant or novelty cake?

No, Petite Crumb specialises in buttercream cakes only.
